Arches Text Wove Scroll. The background is done with Bister ink paste. The text, written twice, once with a white china marker and once cadmium red light gouache with a pointed brush.

The Emerson quote – written in English –  reads “Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm.” The lettering was inspired by Brody Neuenschwander’s class “Finding Inspiration in Non-Latin Scripts”.
